Mid-Rise developers & Professionals

Canada needs Mid-Rise Buildings

Resources for
professionals

Construction of a Mid-Rise Building is a challenging, fun, and unique experience. In this section, we try to share some valuable insights aimed at helping the design and construction of a Mid-Rise project. These include but are not limited to; Structural Elements, Mechanical Systems, Cladding choices, Building systems, sequencing, prefabrication, construction technologies, etc.

Mid-Rise Developers are the heroes of each development story. Embarking on such a challenging entrepreneurial endeavour requires a certain level of persistence, perseverance, and grit that is unique to the role of a Mid-Rise Developer. Unlike high-rise or sub-division developers, primarily well-established and/or institutional, those who work in the mid-rise section are often entrepreneurs who come from other fields (related or not) and have chosen this challenging but rewarding path as their next path to greatness. In this section, we’ll try to provide some insights, best practices, and tools to help them better navigate through this exciting journey. These include but are not limited to land acquisition, partnerships, team assembly, financing, marketing, project management, etc.
